Bulk Distribution Supervisor

Job Summary:

• We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Industry Bulk Distribution Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient distribution of gas products to various customers. The Bulk Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the distribution process, managing a team of drivers and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Job Responsibility:

• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of gas products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and track the movement of gas products to ensure adequate supply for customers.
• Supervise a team of drivers, providing guidance and training as needed, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Schedule routes and deliveries to optimize efficiency and minimize transportation costs.
• Maintain records and documents related to the distribution process, including delivery schedules, invoices, and customer information.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, such as trucks and storage tanks, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Resolve any issues or complaints related to the distribution process, working closely with customers and internal departments to find effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure smooth communication and coordination in the distribution process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a high level of operational excellence.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience working in gas distribution, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the gas industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using computer software, including inventory management systems and route optimization tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of gas industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices is preferred.
