Job Description
| - Oversees the accurate and timely management reports and financial statements - Ensures the good analysis of financial information - Ensures that the appropriate accounting control procedures are applied - Ensures the continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities - Approves the final version of plans, budgets and forecasts to be submitted to the BU/JV DFO - Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end reporting - Analyzes and advises on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues - Analyzes financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources, and provides input to strategic decisions - Supports the BU/JV in understanding its costs of goods and services, and margins - Supervises the proper updating of the chart of accounts and the list of analytical accounts, transfer charges and cost accounting definitions necessary to perform the controlling missions - Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, thus ensuring accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses - Resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities - Establishes and monitors the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures - Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts - Ensures the timeliness, accuracy and quality of all financial reporting - Monitors and supports taxation issues - Supports auditors in the financial audit preparation and coordinates the audit process - Leads, directs, evaluates and develops the Rawabi Holding’s delocalized Accounting team to ensure that objectives are reached - Is responsible for the development, performance appraisal and succession planning of all direct and indirect reports - Promotes a highly effective management and leadership style in line with the Company’s values and that supports the achievement of its strategy and objectives - Identifies potential successor for his/her position; oversees and implements developmental plans for identified successors - Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager |
Skills
| - BA in Accounting or Finance; CPA / CFA is a strong plus - Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance Function within a company of Rawabi Holding’s size or larger - Strong knowledge of financial theory, concepts, and practices - Demonstrates a successful track record as an accountant preferably within a multinational organization - Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills - Capable to work under pressure in a delocalized environment - Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS office applications and basic software applications, and familiarity with the internet and email communications - Experience in the GCC is a plus, preferably in Saudi Arabia - English language fluency required |
