Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Be suitably experienced in offshore vessel operations and hold International Marine Qualification with a minimum of STCW II/2 or III/2.
- A valid Marine Certificate of Competence (COC) from the same home country at a minimum rank of Chief Mate (CH.OFF) or Second Engineer (2nd ENG) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years or more on AHTS vessels.
- Hold NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
- Conduct HSE Inspections on owner assets which will include vessels and facilities.
- Work with vessel Captains, ensuring knowledge of marine procedures and compliance.
- Provide HSE training to the contractor workforce, both onshore and offshore, as well as health risks and communicable diseases awareness sessions which include the identification, prevention and containment of outbreaks onboard the vessel and in the workplace.
- Initiate, communicate and impose HSE controls based on risk assessment results, international and local maritime circulars, Saudi government regulations, contractor company and Saudi Aramco policies, and other related memoranda related to Health, Safety and Environment in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Charterer, Marine Department Quality Assurance and Compliance Unit (QA&CU) to identify and take remedial action in areas where HSE procedures can be improved.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis as required and participate in accident/incident investigations.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English

- Attending or holding a Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis course/certificate.
- Attended or holding an accident/incident investigations course/certificate.
- Holds H2S awareness training certificate.
- Holds HUET/BOSIET certificate.
