Junior Field Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Field Specialist to assist in various field operations and provide support to senior field specialists in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

• Obtain a clear understanding of the proposed work scope and requirements by coordinating with the client representative in order to execute the job in an efficient manner. 
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals (when required) based on the information gathered by the client concerning the job. 
• Ensure all the required information, machinery, equipment, service tooling and spare parts are readily available at worksites prior to the commencement of the job and report any discrepancies to the Direct Manager. 
• Record critical information concerning bottom hole assembly such as: lengths, ODs, IDs, ball seat sizes and any configuration settings required prior to running equipment into the wellbore. 
• Conduct risk assessments, while taking into consideration QHSE requirements, and implement controls to mitigate any potential risks that were identified. 
• Make up bottom hole assemblies as per the specifications and requirements highlighted by the client representative and ensure safe working practices are implemented throughout the rig up and rig down processes. 
• Perform periodic checks on all down hole machinery, equipment and tools utilized in work sites to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the same. 
• Collaborate with personnel assigned at the worksite to ensure job requirements are being adhered to and that operational circumstances do not exceed the parameters of the equipment. 
• Ensure all machinery, equipment, service tooling and spare parts are accounted for, safely contained and backloaded after the completion of the job in addition to ensuring all work job packs are completed and the required signatories are obtained. 
• Conduct post job de-briefing meetings after the completion of each job to report any feedback regarding safety, equipment, client satisfaction and service delivery. 
• Act as a focal point by providing technical expertise to onshore and offshore personnel. 
• Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager. 

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Environmental Science, Agriculture).
2. Prior experience in fieldwork or a similar role is a plus.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to travel to field locations as required.
