Job Summary:
As a Junior Mud Logger, you will be responsible for monitoring drilling operations, analyzing drilling samples, and ensuring accurate data collection to support geological evaluations.
Job Responsibility:
1. Collect and analyze drilling samples to identify formation characteristics.
2. Monitor drilling parameters and mud properties to detect any drilling issues.
3. Maintain accurate logs and records of drilling activities.
4. Communicate findings and observations to the drilling team and geologists.
5. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, or related field.
2. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
3. Ability to work long hours in a remote field environment.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
5. Previous experience in mud logging or drilling operations is a plus.
