Job Description
Assist with the preparation and produce personnel work activity (PWA) and personnel forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for locations and comparative data on results vs. forecasts. Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions. Provide workforce management scheduling and load balancing requirements for work peaks, valleys, and new start-ups. Make adjustments and recommendations to optimizing
Scheduling to maximize service and quality. Act as MyGeo and Geomap user help desk and usage monitor.
- Learn to create reports on historical data and forecasting results from GHR system.
- Compile data and learn to interpret and make recommendations to identified problems.
- Compile and develop recommendations for forecasting and scheduling.
- Update and maintain PWA volume patterns which accurately validate forecasting methods.
- Communicate with Bases on staffing requirements and monthly meetings schedules to determine required staffing levels and to ensure meeting operational commitments. Create integrated database tracking tools for staffing shrinkage patterns (vacation, rotation, sick, training, etc.) to optimize staffing forecasts.
- Assist in the development of correspondent Administrative documents/manuals for system users.
- Make recommendations on creation or amendment of policies to support personnel coordination activities.
- Follow up with new users and assist with personnel follow up calls on employee relations issues and employment satisfaction.
- Assist Bases with basic information and prepare visa and travel guidelines for personnel movement.
Skills
- High Diploma in Business Operations, Logistics, Travel or equivalent education and experience.
- Two (2) or more years successful related forecasting and planning experience, with strong operations background, preferably in a high demand production environment.
- Experience should include building and maintaining complex forecasting models using excel pivot tables and integrating these with proprietary database and related IT resources.
- Experience leading managers and staff professionals in workforce planning sessions internationally and ability to develop relationships with internal customers and become their single point of contact.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills essential.
