Job Summary:
- The Safety Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide safety training to employees on a regular basis.
- Keep abreast of new developments in safety regulations and guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or similar role.
- Having NABOSH or OSHA certificate.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certification in occupational health and safety is a plus.
