Storekeeper

Summary:

• We are looking for a responsible Storekeeper to manage all operations in our storeroom. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory, overseeing shipments, and keeping the storeroom organized.

Job Responsibility:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
• Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment in the storeroom.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
• Assist in all warehouse material inventory activities including sample dispatching.
• Assist in keeping accurate inventory balances.
• Perform store-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling of supplies.
• Assist in inventory audits at all warehouses, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Observe and adhere to HSE policies, procedures and safe working practices and report obvious hazards immediately to the proper personnel.
• Act as a member of the safety committee.
• Act as an EHS zone leader.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory management and basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with standard warehouse equipment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

• Experience in the chemical plant is an advantage.
• Worked in MS office, Oracle etc. to enter all data in the system properly.
