Storekeeper Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Storekeeper Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the store, managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of goods, and leading a team of storekeepers to achieve organizational goals efficiently.

Job Responsibility:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of storekeepers to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing materials.
- Inspect received materials for quality and quantity, and update records accordingly.
- Develop and implement efficient procedures for storage and retrieval of goods to maximize space utilization.
- Train and mentor storekeeping staff to ensure they adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reports on inventory turnover, discrepancies, and shortages.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requests and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment to facilitate easy access to materials.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of storekeeping procedures and inventory control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to inspect materials for quality and quantity.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Physical stamina to handle and move heavy items when necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
