TIG Welders

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team. The TIG Welder will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication work using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in working with stainless steel and other metals, as well as a solid understanding of welding specifications and blueprints.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding operations with precision and attention to detail.
- Interpret welding specifications, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes.
- Set up and prepare welding equipment, including selecting electrodes or filler rods, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adjusting settings.
- Conduct weld inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards and welding codes.
- Conduct post-weld cleaning, grinding, and finishing operations as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain welding equipment, supplies, and materials inventory.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing protective gear and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and designers, to troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues.
- Keep accurate records of performed welds and maintain welding documentation.

Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, including knowledge of various welding processes and equipment.
- Strong understanding of welding specifications, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with different metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding-related issues.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Knowledge of welding safety precautions and procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
