H2S Specialist I

Job Summary:
The H2S Specialist I is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols related to hydrogen sulfide gas to ensure a safe work environment.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement procedures for the detection, monitoring, and control of hydrogen sulfide gas.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Train employees on proper safety protocols and emergency procedures in case of H2S exposure.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any safety concerns related to hydrogen sulfide.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in H2S safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related discipline.
- Certification in H2S safety and experience in implementing safety protocols in a hazardous environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to hydrogen sulfide gas.
- Excellent communication and training skills to educate employees on safety protocols.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of H2S gas properties and behavior
- Proficiency in conducting H2S risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Ability to operate and maintain H2S monitoring equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency response procedures related to H2S exposure
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train and educate team members on H2S safety measures and practices

Bachelor / Diploma in any Relevant field.
