Field Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

He will lead, manage, and oversee the field / site activities for all mechanical aspects. He will work closely with mechanical execution team to ensure that the project's objectives are met in terms of scope, cost and time and will be responsible for monitoring, updating, and
reporting the project’s mechanical activities status.

• Develop Construction SOW according with Client’s request.
• Develop the work breakdown structure of construction activities.
• Allocate the manpower and equipment to all construction activities.
• Develop all documents / DWG required for field activities.
• Define required materials and issue the MTO/BOQ, whether materials will be procured or submitted by Client.
• Support QC to develop QCP including but not limited to (ITP, welding map, testing
  procedures, etc..) according to international codes, Client’s standards, and project specification.
• Managing technical site queries, and variation orders for additional work.
• Monitor site team performance against progress and milestones in line with base schedule.
• Reporting daily progress and equipment / manhour allocation to project controller.
• Responsible for all pre-commissioning, commissioning activities for all Mechanical packages, till mechanical completion.
• Develop a mark-up / as built according to field execution.
• Support QC during project’s handover package preparation.
• Responsible for all lifting activities at site.
• Take a leadership role HSSE performance and ensuring highest standards in all
  behavioural and HSSE compliance matters at field work.

NOTE: THE ABOVE-MENTIONED ACTIVITIES ARE INDICATIVE, NOT LIMITING

Engineering / Technical aspects:

• Design Packages (P&ID, Specifications, Calculations, Procedures, DWGs).
• Knowledge of Codes and Stds. (ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA)
• Knowledge of equipment and system functions (Process Piping, Pipeline, Boiler,
• Heat Exchangers, Columns, Tanks, Vessels, Pumps, Compressors, etc.).

Construction aspects:

• Knowledge of HSE regulations (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk
• Management and Control)
• Planning (WBS, Resources, Materials, Method Statements, Testing Procedures).
• Execution (Workshop DWGs, Tech. Site Quires, Monitoring/follow-up the progress,
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning, Mechanical completion, Hand Over).
