Execute wellbore fishing and milling operations across drilling, workover, and completion phases while ensuring safety, efficiency, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all wellbore fishing and milling activities during new well construction, workover operations, and pulling unit rig completion phases.
- Participate in workshop training to develop knowledge of new equipment, functions, and internal components.
- Support the Direct Manager in preparing work plans with client representatives to ensure proper equipment mobilization, utilization, servicing, and maintenance.
- Prepare Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHAs) according to approved work plans and conduct all pre-job equipment checks.
- Perform required operational calculations, including string weight, stuck point identification, and basic hydraulic calculations.
- Lead rig floor personnel in accordance with the Direct Manager’s instructions and approved operational plans.
- Ensure all machinery, tools, service equipment, and spare parts are available and ready before job start.
- Capture and report critical operational data such as dimensions, weights, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
- Conduct periodic inspections of machinery, equipment, and tools to maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
- Work closely with client representatives at the worksite, providing technical expertise during wellbore remediation and completion activities.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and final inspection of all equipment during and after operations.
- Experience in wellbore fishing and milling operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of drilling, workover, and completion processes.
- Ability to perform technical calculations related to fishing and milling operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide rig floor personnel.
- Effective communication and reporting abilities.
- High commitment to safety, equipment integrity, and operational excellence.
