Maintenance Officer

Job Purpose

• To direct and control all maintenance activities of the company.
• Technical Maintenance (machine & tools)
• Facilities Maintenance
• Control on Company Housekeeping

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for all factory maintenance.
• Monitor and checking all maintenance activities in the company.
• Prepare a yearly plan for maintenance.
• Prepare monthly maintenance report.
• Prepare the Daily Maintenance Check sheet.
• Prepare Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Prepare Maintenance Card on all machines.
• Train the maintenance technician.
• To assure the availability of the spare parts at the store which usually use.
• To assist the contractor/ supplier.
• Monitoring proper housekeeping in the company

Authorities:

• Authorized to assign personnel for the job as per priority & skills.
• Authorized to arrange required spare parts.
• Authorized to decide if the machine needed to repair in-house or to send outside

Communications and Working Relationships

• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation

Physical Requirements of the Job  - If Applicable

• Knowledgeable in ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management System.
• Knowledgeable in OHSAS 18001:2007
• Knowledgeable in ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

·       Education   -  Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

·       Training     -  None

·       Skills          -    Good analytical & troubleshooting ability.

-          Good in communication & leadership skills.

-          Knowledgeable in mechanical & electrical functions of various machines.

-          Knowledgeable in computer application.

-          Familiarize with the following machine.

a)     Welding machine

b)    Shearing Machine

c)     CNC Nibbling machine

d)    CNC Bending machine

e)     Generator

f)     Painting Plant

g)    Air condition

h)    Air Compressor

i)      Drilling Machine

·       At least 3 years experience as Maintenance officer/ supervisor in manufacturing facility.

·       Experience in handling technicians.
