Senior Port Captain

Job Summary:
As a Senior Port Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of port operations, ensuring compliance with maritime laws and regulations, and managing a team of port staff to ensure smooth and efficient port operations.

Job Responsibility:
- Manage and coordinate all activities related to port operations such as vessel traffic, cargo handling, and port security.
- Ensure compliance with local and international maritime laws and regulations.
- Supervise and train port staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
- Coordinate with shipping agents, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient port operations.
- Monitor and assess port facilities and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards and operational requirements.
- Prepare reports on port activities, budgets, and performance metrics for senior management.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in port operations, with at least X years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of maritime laws, regulations, and port operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
